Moto Tours
Multi-day guided motorcycle expeditions across India and beyond.
Exiting a tunnel into direct afternoon sun, riding from a shaded Sahyadri valley into open plateau, or transitioning between overcast and clear skies on a single touring day forces constant visor adjustments. Carrying separate clear and dark visors is impractical. Stopping to swap visors is unsafe on busy highways.
The Tecza Photochromic Visor Shield is a self-tinting film that applies to the outer surface of any full-face helmet visor. It transitions from near-clear to a purple or black tint (per variant) under direct UV exposure, and returns to clear in low light. Blocks UV radiation continuously regardless of tint state. Kit includes installation liquid, squeezer card, and microfiber cloth.
The film transitions to near-clear in low-light conditions. It is not a permanent tint. Night visibility is not significantly reduced compared to a standard clear visor. However, it is not a replacement for a dedicated dark visor in extreme sunlight.
Which helmets are compatible?
All full-face helmets with smooth, non-textured outer visor surfaces. Compatible with Arai, Shoei, AGV, HJC, MT, LS2, and most other brands.
Does it work at night?
Film transitions to near-clear in low light. Not a permanent tint. Night visibility is not significantly reduced.
Can I install it myself?
Yes. Kit includes installation liquid, squeezer card, and microfiber cloth. 15 to 20 minutes. Professional installation gives best results on curved visors.
Does it work with Pinlock?
Yes. Film applies to outer visor surface. Pinlock mounts on interior. No conflict.
How dark does it get?
Transitions from clear to approximately Category 2 tint in direct sunlight. Not suitable as a replacement for a dark visor.
Is it anti-fog?
No. Pair with Tecza Anti-Fog Spray for monsoon and cold-weather use.

Andharban Overnight Camping Ride, Apr 2026
One of the best nights I have had on a ride. The trail, the campfire, the people. Total ADV.
Did not expect a DIY ride to be this well organised. Everything from route briefing to campsite was sorted. Will be back.
