Vendor-led overnight camps for people who want the outdoors without the riding. Lakeside, riverside, alpine. Couples, families, solo travelers, all welcome. Operated by partner camp outfits we have stayed with personally.
Real ground, no theatre.
Camping in India is mostly resort tents pretending to be wilderness. The operators we list run actual camps: real ground, real fires, real briefings on what to do if a leopard walks through (it has happened). Some are family-friendly, some are couples-only, all are off the resort circuit.
