Who are 3 Miles Ahead trips suitable for?
These are small group journeys for travellers who want to explore at a considered pace rather than tick off a checklist. Solo travellers, couples and groups of friends are all welcome. Each departure sets its own age guidance and fitness expectations, and 3 Miles Ahead can plan a customised itinerary for families or senior travellers. Check the individual trip page for that departure's guidance.
How does booking through ADV TRIBE work?
You reserve your place on ADV TRIBE with a booking deposit, which is part of the total trip price and not an extra charge. ADV TRIBE then passes your booking details to 3 Miles Ahead, who operate the journey and coordinate the rest with you directly.
When is the remaining balance due?
The balance is paid directly to 3 Miles Ahead rather than to ADV TRIBE. The exact amount and due date are shown on each trip page and confirmed with your booking.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
These are ADV TRIBE's standard cancellation terms for bookings made through ADV TRIBE. 21 or more days before departure: full refund less payment gateway charges. 14 to 20 days: 75% refund. 7 to 13 days: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: no refund. Send cancellation or rescheduling requests in writing to info@advtribe.in. Individual departures may carry additional operator conditions, which are shown on the trip page.
What kind of accommodation is used?
Stays are generally 3 star or equivalent properties selected for cleanliness, comfort and location, and are primarily on a double sharing basis. Single occupancy can be arranged on request at an additional cost, subject to availability. Some journeys include stays with a local character, such as houseboats or well reviewed homestays, so check the trip page for that departure.
What transport is provided?
Comfortable SUVs such as an Ertiga or Innova, or a Tempo Traveller or Winger, depending on group size, route and terrain. The group travels together in the same vehicles throughout. Airport pickup and drop are included as per the planned itinerary and the recommended flight timings shown on each trip page.
What documents or permits do I need?
Carry a valid original government photo ID for hotel check ins, and keep a digital copy as a backup. Permit requirements differ by destination. Some routes need no permits at all, while restricted areas need permits that 3 Miles Ahead arrange once you provide the necessary documents within the stated timelines. The trip page lists what applies to your departure.
Do inclusions vary between departures?
Yes. Meals, sightseeing, activities and entry tickets are set per journey, so what is included on one trip is not automatically included on another. Each trip page carries the full inclusions and exclusions for that departure, and that page is the reference for anything trip specific.
