Elusive Himalayan Trails is a signature ride from Tourbugs. Secret trails, secret valleys, and the history that takes you back to the stone age. These breathtaking landscapes are perfect for photography and videography.
The routes go along rivers through demanding terrain. Unusual wildlife. Zanskar Valley through Zangla and Shinkula. Suru Valley, Drang Drung Glacier, Gombok Ranjan, and the full Changthang loop to Umling La. The deserted Himalayas holds hidden secrets. The more you explore, the less you know.

The route, day by day
Meet, greet, assist and transfer to hotel in Leh. Free day to acclimatise. Rest is very important today. Dinner at hotel.
Post breakfast, start the most awaited ride. Today we ride to Kargil. Smooth roads and landscapes that will amaze on every turn. Overnight stay at Kargil.
Pack up, sort riding gear, and ride towards Padum. Historically the capital of Zanskar. Good terrain, spectacular landscapes, and the magnificent Himalayas all day. Overnight stay at Padum.
The ride goes parallel to the Zanskar river with good climbs. The most adventurous day of the entire ride. Difficult roads, stunning scenery. Witness the confluence of the Zanskar and Tsarap rivers at Purne. Camping at Gombok Ranjan tonight.
A ride full of adventure. A true Zanskar ride day. Overnight stay at Zangla.
Pass through Singge La (16,590 ft) and Sirsir La (15,761 ft), through some of India's deepest gorges. Overnight stay at Leh.
Post breakfast, ride towards the Changthang region. A beautiful ride with serene landscapes throughout. Pangong Tso is the gem of Ladakh. Overnight stay at Pangong.
After Pangong Tso, move to the lesser explored Changthang. Ride towards Nyoma, a principal village with many armed forces establishments. Overnight in a cozy homestay in Nyoma.
The most important day of the entire ride. Umling La at 19,300 ft is the world's highest motorable pass. Ride up, breathe thin, take your photograph, and ride back down. The most memorable day of your life. Overnight stay at Nyoma.
Post breakfast, ride towards Tso Moriri. A beautiful sweet water lake with stunning landscapes. A good mix of tarmac, broken tarmac, and off-roads. Overnight camp at Tso Moriri.
Last riding day. Visit Tsokar lake on the way back to Leh. Conclude the ride over dinner, swapping stories of fun, breakdowns, and falls. Overnight stay at Leh.
Post breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Leh airport. The ride ends here.
