Hemis Festival Ladakh | Jun 2026
Hemis Festival Ladakh | Jun 2026
A rare window into one of Ladakh's most sacred annual gatherings. The Hemis Festival is celebrated at Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, on the birth anniversary of Guru Padmasambhava. Witness Cham dance performances by monks in elaborate masks and brocade costumes, experience the monastery courtyard alive with colour, sound, and ritual, and move through a Ladakh that most itineraries never reach.
