The ADV TRIBE luggage tail rack for the Triumph Scrambler 400X is a bolt-on rear luggage platform. The top plate is laser-cut 4 mm 6061-T6 aluminium on laser-cut 4 mm mild steel mounting brackets, both black powder coated. It carries a top box or soft luggage, and it can be run on its own or alongside the ADV TRIBE saddle stay.

ADV TRIBE recommends a maximum luggage load of 7 kg. This is rider and motorcycle stability guidance rather than a structural limit. Weight carried high and behind the rear axle affects handling, most noticeably at highway speeds.
How long does installation take?
Approximately 15 minutes. It is a DIY bolt-on fit and no permanent modification to the motorcycle is required.
Does the rack interfere with the pillion seat?
No. Installation does not interfere with pillion seating, and the rack is compatible with the stock grab rails.
Do I need the saddle stay as well?
No. The tail rack and the saddle stay are modular and each installs independently with its own mounting hardware. Many touring riders run both, the rack carrying a top bag and the stay supporting side bags, but neither requires the other.
