The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 has a comfortable riding position for most riding, but tall riders or those covering 500km-plus days know the feeling: wrists, shoulders, and lower back begin to protest after hour four. Handlebar risers lift the bar position by 38 mm, bringing the controls closer and reducing the lean-forward angle. The result is a more relaxed riding posture and less fatigue on marathon touring stages.
ADV TRIBE Handlebar Risers are machined from aluminium, bolt onto the existing handlebar clamp positions, and retain the stock handlebar diameter. No welding, no drilling, no modifications to the frame. The existing cables and brake lines should have sufficient slack for the riser height - verify before fitting if your bike has aftermarket bars or non-stock cable routing.

Do I need to extend my throttle cables or brake lines when fitting risers?
Replacement cables are not required. At 38 mm of rise the stock cables on the Interceptor 650 generally have sufficient slack. Check cable and line tension at both full left lock and full right lock before riding, and reroute or adjust any cable that feels tight at full lock.
Will the risers change the steering feel or handling of the Interceptor 650?
Handlebar risers do not change the fork geometry, rake, or trail of the motorcycle. Steering response remains the same. The difference you will notice is in your riding posture and fatigue levels, not in the mechanical steering characteristics.
How much difference does a 38 mm riser actually make?
The difference is noticeable from the first ride. The reduced lean-forward angle takes pressure off the wrists and shifts more weight to the seat.
