This is the same top-plate component used in the complete ADV TRIBE Himalayan 450 tail-rack system, supplied on its own. It is the plate only: the mounting-bracket assembly is not included.

Important: This plate is built for the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and its top-plate mounting points. It will not fit the older Himalayan 411. If you own a Himalayan 411, contact us before ordering.

Which top boxes fit this plate?
The luggage surface uses a universal mounting pattern and is compatible with most top boxes available in India. It is also suitable for soft luggage. Check your top box mounting plate against the pattern if you are unsure.

Does this fit the older Royal Enfield Himalayan 411?
No. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has an entirely different frame and subframe from the older 411cc Himalayan. This plate is designed and tested exclusively for the Himalayan 450.

Do I need to drill holes to fit this plate?
No drilling required. It bolts onto the Himalayan 450 top-plate mounting points. Hardware is included.

What hardware is included?
Spacers and 304 stainless steel CSK head M6 x 20mm bolts.

Do I need the saddle stay as well?
No. The tail rack and the saddle stay are modular and each installs independently, with the mounting hardware needed for that accessory on its own. Many touring riders run both together, the rack carrying a top bag and the stay supporting side bags, but neither requires the other.

How much weight can I safely carry?
ADV TRIBE recommends a maximum luggage load of 7 kg. This is stability guidance rather than a structural limit: weight carried high and behind the rear axle affects how the bike handles, most noticeably at highway speeds. Heavier loads carried low and centred improve stability on mountain passes and trail sections.
