It mounts along both sides of the bike using factory bolt points, creating a rigid support structure that holds your bags in position and away from any moving or hot parts.

Bolt-on fitment. No drilling. Works with all standard soft saddle bags across brands. If you are touring the Himalayan 450 with side luggage, this is not optional.

Why do I need a saddle stay if my bags came with straps?
Bag straps alone do not prevent the bag from swinging inward toward the rear tyre and exhaust. A saddle stay provides a rigid lateral frame that holds the bag in its correct loaded position regardless of road surface, speed, or load weight.

Does this fit the older Himalayan 411?
No. The RE Himalayan 450 has a different frame geometry from the 411cc model. This stay is designed and fitted to the 2024-onwards Himalayan 450.

Will this work with Rahgear saddle bags?

Can I run both a tail rack and a saddle stay at the same time?
